Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma in Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Current Compulsory Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Advantageous Skills and Knowledge:
- Electronic technician experience.
- Technical report writing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Computer-aided technical applications.
- Knowledge of electronic maintenance, repair procedures, and test equipment.
- Project Management, Decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance, Research and development, Mentoring, and coaching.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting planned maintenance on sophisticated Electronic Systems.
- Operating Test Equipment and diagnosing complex faults.
- Using software-driven Test Instruments for testing and analysis to ensure the quality of electronic equipment.
