Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications:

  • A three-year relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Risk Management or Internal Audit.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of functional experience in Risk Management.

Knowledge:

A solid understanding of the following is essential:

  • Unemployment Insurance Act & Regulations, UIF Contributions Act
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Labour Relations Act (LRA) & Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
  • Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Regulations & Act
  • Risk Management Frameworks, Project Management, Criminal Procedure Act

Skills:

  • Interviewing, Communication (verbal and written), Listening
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office)
  • Time Management, Analytical Thinking, Interpersonal Skills
  • Report Writing, Planning and Organizing

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Implementing risk analysis processes and continuously monitoring risks.
  • Ensuring risk compliance across provincial operations.
  • Providing risk management services and support to Labour Centres and the Provincial Office.
  • Supervising resources within the risk management section.
