Do You Have What It Takes? Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and professional individual with a strong foundation in administrative principles. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Essential: A Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4 or equivalent).
- Advantageous: A recognised qualification and/or experience in HR or administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Typing skills are essential.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of HR Legislation, policies, practices, and procedures, particularly those pertaining to recruitment. Experience with the PERSOL system is beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal, organisational, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. A high level of professionalism is non-negotiable.
Your Key Responsibilities: Duties
In this role, you will be at the heart of the recruitment process for the Military Skills Development System (MSDS). Your duties will include:
- Distributing, checking, and registering MSDS application forms.
- Capturing application data accurately on the PERSOL system.
- Implementing recruitment plans and strategies to support SANDF goals.
- Communicating effectively with various services, divisions, and the public on recruitment matters.
- Coordinating and attending recruitment meetings.
- Attending to and resolving general recruitment enquiries.

Important Notes for Applicants
