Position Details

  • Reference Number: 25/59/FMS
  • Centre: National Office, Pretoria
  • Salary: R325 101 – R382 959 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.
  • Closing Date: 17 June 2025

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of key legislation and frameworks, including:
    • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
    • Treasury Regulations
    • Public Service Act and Regulations
    • Division of Revenue Act (DORA)
    • Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA)
    • Public Audit Act
  • Strong knowledge of Policy Development and Payroll administration.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong budgeting and financial management abilities
  • A high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving, research, and analytical skills
  • Presentation and facilitation skills

Key Performance Areas (Duties)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and rendering financial accounting transactions.
  • Supervising and performing bookkeeping support services.
  • Supervising and performing salary administration support services.
  • Rendering budget support services.
  • Providing effective people management and supervision.
