Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Education: ABET level 4 or a Grade 10 certificate.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Planning and organizing skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Basic conflict management abilities
Key Performance Areas (Duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing catering support services for the department.
- Serving food and beverages during meetings and conferences.
- Cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment, and cutlery.
- Preparing and cleaning conference facilities before and after events.
- Monitoring the supply of food and reporting any waste or losses.
