The Western Cape Government’s Mobility Department is seeking two dedicated and skilled Administrative Officers to join their eNaTIS Support Centre team. Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or B-degree (equivalent or higher qualification).
  • A minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience specifically within an eNaTIS Support Centre working environment.

Key Competencies and Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of:

  • The National Road Traffic Act (93 of 1996) and National Road Traffic Regulations (2000).
  • National and Provincial eNaTIS Security Policy.
  • The National Traffic Information System (eNaTIS) itself.
  • Customer service principles, office administration, database management, and government processes.
  • Procurement and financial administration.

Essential skills include excellent written and verbal communication, proven computer literacy, problem-solving, project management, and technical proficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and resolving eNaTIS hardware, network, and software support calls.
  • Administering aspects related to the roll-out of new eNaTIS software releases.
  • Facilitating the establishment and relocation of NaTIS sites.
  • Maintaining and updating the official NaTIS asset register.
  • Managing support calls related to driving licence enrolment units.
