Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in technical analysis and report writing.
- Knowledge of legal compliance, conflict management, and computer-aided technical applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the following duties:
- Inspect, service, repair, test, and install specific inflatable life rafts and associated emergency equipment.
- Inspect, service, repair, and test life jackets.
- Manufacture related items from fabric, canvas, leather, plastic, and rubber.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Pre-delivery inspection of all lifesaving equipment to guarantee it is serviceable for the end user.
