Are You the Ideal Candidate? Requirements

To be considered for this senior role, you must meet the following criteria:

Education & Experience

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in one of the following fields:
    • Management Services
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Operations/Production Management
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Human Resource Management
  • A minimum of four (4) years of functional experience in an Organizational Development, Effectiveness, or Work Study services environment.

Knowledge & Skills

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of policies, regulations, and legislation, including the Labour Relations Act (LRA) and Public Financial Management Act (PFMA). Key knowledge areas include organizational design, business process management, job evaluation, and change management.

Essential skills include:

  • Project Management & Facilitation
  • Analytical and Research abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Report writing and interpersonal relations
  • Computer literacy and innovation

Your Key Responsibilities: Duties

In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the department’s structure and efficiency. Your duties will include:

  • Managing and facilitating in-depth organizational development investigations.
  • Leading the development and review of job profiles across the department.
  • Facilitating and conducting Job Evaluation processes.
  • Coordinating Business Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting change management interventions and organizational client surveys.
