- Salary: R468 459 – R551 823 per annum (The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement)

Requirements
To be considered for this prestigious position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: An appropriate NQF level 6 qualification in Communication or Linguistics, as recognized by SAQA.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a translation services work environment.
- Language: Major in Afrikaans is a strict requirement.
- Knowledge: A thorough understanding of Public Service statutory frameworks, including the Public Service Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and Labour Relations Act.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, financial management, communication, project management, team leadership, and computer literacy are essential.
Key Performance Areas / Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the translation function within the department.
- Editing translated bills to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Managing terminology development to maintain consistency.
- Managing human, financial, and other resources efficiently.
