- Salary: R520,560 per annum, plus a 12% rural allowance on your annual basic salary

To be considered for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: A basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration: Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- Driver’s License: A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence and a willingness to travel extensively within the district and province.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Maternal-Child-Women’s Health, HIV/AIDS/STI/TB, and Chronic Conditions programmes.
- Excellent psychosocial, health assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership, communication (verbal and written), planning, and organisational skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Your Key Responsibilities
As the Clinical Programme Coordinator, your duties will be critical to the health of the district:
- Implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate District Child Health services and strategies.
- Support the implementation and integration of HIV/AIDS/STI/TB services with chronic condition management, maternal health, and the 1st 1000 Days strategy.
- Strengthen internal and external healthcare interfaces, focusing on the Comprehensive Occupational Primary Care (COPC) Model.
- Monitor programme goals by collecting, validating, and interpreting statistical data to inform decisions.
- Support sub-districts (Laingsburg, Prince Albert, and Beaufort West) in achieving and maintaining Ideal Health Status for PHC facilities and District Hospitals.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives across all related health services.
