Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 12 Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Recommendations (Advantageous):
- Relevant human resource management experience.
- A PERSAL Introduction certificate.
Key Competencies:
- A good understanding of the legislative framework governing Human Resources and Service Conditions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy in the MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Performance Areas (Duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Administering various service conditions and benefits, including Leave Administration, Audits, payments, and capturing.
- Managing PILIR (Pensionable Institution Leave Improvement Remuneration) administration and other ad-hoc duties.
- Updating and maintaining relevant HR databases accurately.
- Liaising with the call centre, CRU managers, and other departments.
- Drafting formal correspondence, memorandums, emails, and other official letters.
