Who Should Apply? The Requirements
This role is designed for a dedicated and experienced IOP professional. The non-negotiable requirements include:
- A Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience.
- Current full registration with the HPCSA as an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist in Independent Practice.
- Must be a South African citizen (RSA) and not hold dual citizenship.
- Willingness to be appointed under the Public Service Act and to understand military culture.
- Computer literacy and key competencies in communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
Your Mission: Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a key advisor at the MPI, your role will be both strategic and hands-on. Your duties will include:
- Providing specialized IOP services in line with HPCSA’s scope of practice.
- Acting as a specialist advisor on assessments, selections, and talent development programs.
- Conducting needs analyses and designing tailored intervention programs.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring the high-standard execution of projects.
- Upholding the highest ethical and professional standards while monitoring service delivery.
- Leading and executing projects both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
