Competitive Salary Package (OSD)
Remuneration is based on the Occupational Specific Dispensation (OSD), commensurate with your experience:
- Grade 1: R397,233 per annum
- Grade 2: R463,941 per annum
- Grade 3: R543,099 per annum
All packages are inclusive.
Who Should Apply? Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A relevant qualification: National Diploma, B-Tech, or BHSc in Medical Technology.
- Current full registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Technologist in Hematology (Independent Practice).
- While no post-registration experience is mandatory, any relevant experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Essential skills include knowledge of:
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Total Quality Management (TQM) and communication.
- SANAS Accreditation processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of critical duties, including:
- Executing laboratory methodology within the field of Hematology.
- Managing sample processing and administration.
- Performing maintenance on laboratory analysers and analytical equipment.
- Implementing Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures.
- Contributing to Laboratory Accreditation processes.
- Handling laboratory statistics and managing the Laboratory Data Management System.
