- Salary: R1,059,105 per annum (Level 12, all-inclusive package)

Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this influential position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: An NQF level 6 or 7 qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Advantageous: A qualification in International Relations and/or experience in implementing international projects.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years in a project environment, with three of those years at a junior management level.
Key Competencies: The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public service legislation, project management principles, financial management, and the National Development Plan. Critical skills include strategic leadership, stakeholder negotiation, report writing, financial management, and excellent communication abilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
As the Project Manager for the ARF, you will be at the helm of initiatives that promote African development. Your duties will include:
- Compiling and evaluating project proposals for the ARF Advisory Committee.
- Leading project planning, implementation, and resource allocation from inception to conclusion.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure quality deliverables.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders and providing detailed performance reports.
- Developing standard operating procedures and frameworks for project governance.
- Conducting project audits to ensure adherence to standards.
