Who Should Apply? The Requirements
This is a senior role requiring a substantial level of expertise and a diverse skill set. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
- A valid driver’s license.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and computer-aided technical applications.
- Advanced ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven leadership, supervision, and management skills.
- Knowledge of project management, financial management, change management, and legal compliance.
- Technical design, analysis, and production process knowledge.
- Excellent planning, organising, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong customer focus.
Your Key Responsibilities (Duties)
As the successful candidate, you will be entrusted with a wide range of critical duties, including:
- Performing administrative duties for the section.
- Training and developing subordinates.
- Updating and improving systems and equipment.
- Managing quality standards and ensuring safety and security protocols are maintained.
- Providing supervisory oversight and assisting with budget requirements.
- Overseeing environmental services within the section.
