Position: State Accountant: Management Accounting
Salary: R376 413 per annum (Level 08)

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A 3-year National Diploma or B-degree (or equivalent/higher qualification).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICT or management environment.
- A valid (Code B) or higher driving licence. Note: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
- Recommendation: Additional experience in an ICT/management environment is highly advantageous.
Key Competencies and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical knowledge and soft skills, including:
- Knowledge of: Information Systems Technology, Configuration Management, Data Management, Network Hardware, and Public Management.
- Critical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, proven computer literacy, analytical thinking, leadership, management capabilities, problem-solving, and the ability to work systematically under pressure.
Key Performance Areas (Duties)
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the GMT ICT component and its resources.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining GMT ICT systems.
- Managing ICT projects and SLAs with external service providers.
- Managing human resources and determining financial requirements for ICT procurement and projects.
