- Salary: R382,047 – R433,176 per annum
- Location: Naval Base Durban

Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Possess an appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a painting environment is a distinct advantage.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical report writing ability.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols, specific painting processes, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate spray gun machines and perform routine tasks.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team-working skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of technical applications.
- Must be physically fit to perform all painting duties.
Your Key Responsibilities
As an Artisan Painter, your duties will include:
- Executing all painting and maintenance duties in compliance with the official Code of Conduct and Quality Assurance standards.
- Completing repair and maintenance tasks according to allocated job cards and time frames.
- Implementing effective and appropriate repair solutions.
- Working effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Assisting with the training of newly appointed staff.
