The South African Navy’s Fleet Command Headquarters is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Naval Engineering Services division in the historic town of Simon’s Town. - Salary: R391,671 – R418,332 per annum

Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma in Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Compulsory Registration: Current registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
Key Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Proven experience in an engineering drawing office.
- Knowledge of computer programs used in a Design environment.
- Strong knowledge of specifications, standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to compile and present technical reports in English.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and research skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities (Duties)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing a comprehensive item specification and drawing service.
- Conducting technical investigations related to item specifications.
- Providing vital item specification information and support service to the command.
