Are You the Right Candidate? (Requirements)

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A three (3) year tertiary qualification at NQF Level 6 in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Public Administration, or Business Administration.
  • At least one (1) year of functional experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Provisioning Services.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) is essential.
  • Key Skills: Supervision, Negotiation, Client Orientation, Facilitation, Computer Literacy, Presentation, Analytical, and Communication skills.

Your Key Responsibilities (Duties)

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of critical functions, including:

  • Providing contract and tender management support in line with relevant prescripts.
  • Administering open and closed tender processes in full compliance with SCM policies and Treasury regulations.
  • Procuring goods and services for the province according to all relevant guidelines.
  • Providing Inventory Management Support to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Managing all resources within the Directorate on a daily basis.
