Who Should Apply? The Requirements

This is an entry-level position, perfect for school leavers or those looking to start a new career path.

  • Education: Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
  • Experience: Zero experience required.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the Unemployment Insurance Act, PFMA, POPIA, and Batho Pele Principles is beneficial but not a prerequisite as training will be provided.
  • Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written), listening, customer relations, computer literacy, and interpersonal skills are key.

What Will You Do? Key Duties

As a UI Client Service Officer, your role will be crucial in assisting the public with unemployment benefits. Your duties will include:

  • Providing screening services to clients.
  • Processing applications for UIF benefits.
  • Registering payment continuation forms.
  • Performing various administrative functions to support the office.
