- Grade 1: R451,533 per annum
- Grade 2: R553,545 per annum

Do You Qualify? Key Requirements
Before applying, please ensure you meet the following minimum requirements:
- Qualification: A basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Post-Basic Qualification: A minimum 1-year post-basic qualification in Curative Skills in Clinical Nursing Science: Health Assessment, Treatment and Care (R48), accredited with the SANC.
- Registration: Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Experience:
- For Grade 1: A minimum of 4 years of recognizable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 14 years of recognizable experience, with at least 10 of those years being in the specific specialty (PHC) after obtaining the R48 post-basic qualification.
- Other Requirements:
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
- Willingness to work overtime and at other clinics in the sub-district when necessary.
- NIMART training or experience is highly advantageous.
Important Note for Applicants: Candidates who do not yet possess the R48 registration may still apply. They will be considered on condition that they provide proof of application and payment for this registration with the SANC by the day of the interview.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in this role, your duties will be diverse and critical to community health:
- Manage the burden of disease through comprehensive health programs.
- Plan and implement essential Health Promotion and Prevention activities within the facility and the wider community.
- Act as a vital link between the clinic and community structures and non-profit organizations (NPOs).
- Provide high-quality Primary Health Care (PHC) services to surrounding communities.
- Collect health data and compile accurate reports.
- Assist with the management of human resources, finance, and infrastructure under supervision.
