Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan or Artisan Foreman.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Previous painting experience is a distinct advantage.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical report writing ability.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of painting processes, aids, and equipment.
- Ability to operate spray gun machines and perform routine maintenance.
- Strong planning, organising, and project management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and knowledge of computer-aided technical applications.
- Must be physically fit to perform all required duties.
- Additional competencies in Finance Management, Change Management, Problem Solving, and Mentoring are required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Executing all duties in strict compliance with the Code of Conduct and Quality Assurance Manual.
- Allocating tasks to staff and ensuring they have the necessary resources.
- Managing job cards, ensuring target dates are met, and forecasting potential overruns.
- Overseeing the effective execution of all workshop tasks and maintenance.
- Managing the Paint Shop Service to maintain store inventory.
- Handling the section’s administrative commitments.
- Acting as a team player and assisting with the training of newly appointed staff.

- The Z83 form must be originally signed, dated, and accompanied by a detailed CV.
