Who Should Apply? Key Requirements
To be considered for this pivotal role, you must meet the following criteria:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Artisan.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Preferred Skills: Experience in Mechanical Weapons Systems is highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate will also possess these critical skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical analysis and report writing abilities.
- Proficiency in computer-aided technical applications.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance, particularly the OHAS Act.
- Planning, organising, conflict management, teamwork, and customer focus.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be at the forefront of maintaining the Navy’s critical defence systems. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining and repairing SUT Torpedoes.
- Preparing both exercise and combat torpedoes for issue and storage.
- Maintaining torpedo Counter Measure launchers.
- Conducting functional tests on UMKHONTO Missiles and purging pure air systems.
- Ensuring strict security protocols and compliance with the OHAS Act within the section.

- The Z83 form must be originally signed, dated, and accompanied by a detailed CV.
