Who Should Apply? Essential Requirements
To be considered for this pivotal role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A National Diploma in Engineering or a relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification technical experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Current Compulsory Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
Key Skills and Advantages:
- Experience in at least two other Armament workshops relating to guided weapons maintenance is a significant advantage.
- Proven Weapon Systems management experience.
- Strong technical design and analysis knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in technical report writing, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance and computer-aided technical applications.
Your Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical duties, including:
- Providing comprehensive Technical Support group activities.
- Assisting workshops within the division with technical interventions.
- Performing essential System Management Tasks.
- Conducting Research and Development (R&D) tasks to drive innovation.
- Performing the calibration of all Test and Measuring Tools and Equipment.
- Ensuring strict compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHAS) Act.

- The Z83 form must be originally signed, dated, and accompanied by a detailed CV.
