Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognized three-year National Diploma (BPROC) / Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Bachelor of Commerce in Law (BCOM Law).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Legal or Compliance environment.
- A valid driver’s license.
Knowledge & Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the Public Service Act, Treasury Regulations, Corporate Governance, the Skills Development Act, and other relevant legislation. Essential skills include:
- Facilitation, Planning, and Organizing
- Computer Literacy
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Problem Solving, Analytical, and Innovation skills
- Presentation and Interviewing skills
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Assisting in court for the enforcement of Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES).
- Managing the implementation of enforcement processes for IES.
- Developing and managing the advocacy strategy for the province.
- Facilitating and managing capacity development programmes for provincial inspectors.
- Compiling and managing statistics for the Unit.
